Ross Walker is a Founder and Managing Partner of Hawkins Way Capital and its affiliated funds. Since 2005, Mr. Walker, first as a Partner at Wolff Urban Development, has focused on individual property acquisitions, portfolio acquisitions, property management and development projects. Additionally, Mr. Walker is part of the ownership group of Major League Baseball's Oakland Athletics.
Mr. Walker's prior professional experience was with Joie de Vivre Hospitality in San Francisco, owner, operator and developer of boutique hotels. Mr. Walker's professional experience also includes associate and financial analyst positions focused on general corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions with investment banking firms in Los Angeles, and a business development role with an education technology firm in Calabasas.
Mr. Walker received a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Stanford's Graduate School of Business. From 2005-2010, Mr. Walker served on Stanford University's Board of Trustees which administers the invested funds, sets the annual budget and determines policies for operation and control of the University. Mr. Walker now serves as trustee emeritus and is a member of the Stanford Real Estate Council.
