Patrick S. McCabe is a non-profit organizational management leader and consultant with over thirty years of experience in business and education.  He is a multi-faceted executive with an extensive background in development, strategic planning, and public speaking.  Most recently, Pat was the executive director of Covenant House California, which serves 150 homeless youth.  Pat began his career in independent school education by serving as the Head of School and CEO of Newbridge School. Pat then spearheaded Newbridge’s merger with New Roads Elementary School, becoming its director and founder.  He also served as the Chief Operating Officer for New Roads School, which grew to 680 students during his tenure there. Before entering the educational arena, Pat was the founder and president of McSand Group, a sports and entertainment marketing agency, and the vice president of Cablevision-Sports Channel Networks.  Pat has served on more than twenty non-profit and community boards including Harvard-Westlake Alumni (President); Wesleyan University Alumni (President); Determined to Succeed; Inner City Education Foundation; USC Hybrid Charter High School, as well as The Music Center.  In 2012, Pat was honored with the Santa Monica College Foundation Achievement Award for his accomplishments as president of their board, and in 2008 as president of the board of Shane’s Inspiration, Pat was presented with their Visionary Leadership Award. Pat holds a B.A. in sociology from Wesleyan University and credits much of his success to his experience attending an all-boys high school, Harvard School, in Los Angeles. He lives in Santa Monica with his wife and two children.
